HTML5 custom login, registration, and membership functionality for LocalHero sites — handles login, registration, password recovery, one-time-passcode (OTC) authentication, SSO across the network, member onboarding and approval, BuddyPress access gating, and post-status-based content visibility (restrict/confidential/logged_in/private).
With LH Site Privacy active, it also makes whole sites members-only: LH Membership tells LH Site Privacy who counts as a member, and LH Site Privacy does the gating.
Someone can sign up to play in a team without being in it until their membership is approved. Each person invited to join a site has one organisation invitation, optionally naming a team, which stays open until they accept or decline the terms. Approving the application joins them to that team before the welcome email is sent. Invitations are kept as history rather than deleted, so open ones show who still needs following up. Rejections are recorded per site, and the group Report screen gets a Membership column so group admins can see who is awaiting approval. All of this works the same when approval runs for another site over MCP with site_id.
