Members of a LocalHero site can now connect their own AI assistant to it, the one they already use, from any provider that supports the open Model Context Protocol.
Once connected, the assistant can work with the site on the member’s behalf: finding information, drafting content and handling routine admin. It can only do what that member’s own role allows.
Members stay in control. Every connected app is listed on their Connected Apps screen, where they can rename it or revoke its access at any time.
LocalHero doesn’t tie anyone to a particular AI. Organisations and members choose their own, and can change their minds.
