LH Related Posts by Taxonomy shows up to three related posts at the end of each post and page, chosen by how many categories, tags and other terms they share with the post being read. Each related post is shown with its image, title and excerpt.
It works with both kinds of WordPress theme. In block themes it is a Related Posts block that WordPress places after the post content in single post and page templates automatically, so there is nothing to set up, and site owners can move or remove it in the Site Editor. In classic themes the list is added after the post content.
Features
- Related Posts block, added after the post content in block themes by default.
- Move it within a single post by inserting the block where you want it, or pick the posts it shows by ID.
- A Show related posts toggle in the post editor turns it off for one post.
- Automatic list for classic themes, plus a shortcode for existing content.
- No settings screen; developers can adjust everything with filters and a template theme override.
