LH Letter Custom Post Type adds Letters, a post type for an organisation’s formal correspondence, with a Sent status in place of Published. A letter is drafted, then marked Sent once it has gone out, so the site keeps a record of what was sent and when.
Every letter starts from the same locked layout: a letterhead and footer shared by all letters, an open area for the body that takes any blocks, and a signature block that shows the signature image of the letter’s author. Each person’s signature is uploaded on their user profile and kept private. The title names the letter in the admin but is not shown on the letter itself.
Letters can be viewed and edited only by people who can edit others’ posts. AI assistants can draft letters and edit drafts through MCP abilities, including on another site from the user’s home site, but no ability can mark a letter as sent: that is always a human step in the admin.
