LH Disk Usage shows where the storage goes, on one site or across a whole multisite network. It replaces the Media Library File Size and Disk Usage Sunburst plugins with one plugin that has no upsells, no ads and no external services.
Features
- A sortable File size column in the Media library, showing each file’s own size and the combined size of the thumbnails and other variants WordPress generated from it.
- Every variant listed with its dimensions and size on the attachment screen and in the media modal.
- Tools > Disk Usage on each site: the media library total, a breakdown by type and the largest attachments.
- On multisite, a network screen for super admins: every site’s uploads directory on disk beside its media library, measured daily, and scans of the install, wp-content, uploads, plugins or themes shown as a sunburst chart with a list of the largest files.
- Fast measurement with du through the shell where the server allows it, and a time-limited PHP fallback everywhere else.
Site administrators see figures for their own site only; anything network-wide is for super admins. Existing attachments are measured in the background after activation, so totals fill in over the first few minutes.
