Digital Sovereignty for everyone

LH Calendars

LH Calendars gives every member one calendar account that holds everything: their own calendars and task lists, and the events of every organisation they belong to. It syncs to the calendar app already on their phone or computer (Apple Calendar and Reminders, or any CalDAV app such as DAVx⁵ on Android) through LH DAV. No separate app, and no Google or iCloud account, is needed.

  • Personal calendars and task lists. Everyone starts with one called Personal. Add more, rename, recolour or delete them from the phone. Entries are stored exactly as the phone sends them, so alarms, repeats, invitees and app-specific details are kept.
  • Organisation calendars. One read-only calendar for each site the member belongs to that runs GatherPress, holding the events they are allowed to see (public, members-only or committee, following LH Membership), from three months back onwards. Changes made on the site reach phones on their next sync.
  • One account, in one place. Calendars are served on the member’s home site: their primary site, or the main site for network administrators. Every calendar appears together in one view and can be shown or hidden on each device.
  • Yours to take away. Personal calendars are standard iCalendar, stored on the organisation’s own server, and each can be downloaded as an .ics file from the profile screen.

A data plugin: it registers no MCP abilities. AI and other tools reach calendars through the providers’ service methods, under the same permission rules as phones.
