wp-admin bulk tag management
Reachable via a submenu registered under the BuddyPress Groups admin menu, one per taxonomy with show_in_menu enabled. Gated to the bp_moderate BuddyPress capability (kept from upstream deliberately — this is BuddyPress’s own group-moderation permission model, not install_plugins, since it’s day-to-day moderation rather than site administration).
Group edit screen metabox
Lets group admins manage a group’s terms from wp-admin → BuddyPress → Groups → Edit. Gated to the taxonomy’s own edit_terms/delete_terms capabilities.
Group creation / group admin “Details” step
Tag editor checkboxes for each registered taxonomy, gated to bp_current_user_can( $tax->cap->edit_terms ), or to the user creating/administering the group.
Groups directory
Filtering by one or more taxonomies at once (AND semantics) via query args, or (for one taxonomy with a matching action slug) a directory URL segment. See Architectural notes for the SQL-join implementation.
Single group pages
Group tags rendered via the group_hook param (default: bp_before_group_header_meta); template hierarchy gains a tag-aware fallback template.
