- 1.15.0: Renames the plugin’s two hooks to follow its namespace: the filter lh-multipart-email_destroy-phpmailer is now lh_multipart_email_destroy_phpmailer, and the action lh-multipart-email_phpmailer_reinitialized is now lh_multipart_email_phpmailer_reinitialized. Code using the old names must switch to the new ones.
- 1.14.3: Declares the minimum WordPress version (5.5) in the plugin header. 5.5 is the release that moved PHPMailer to the PHPMailerPHPMailer namespace the plugin relies on. No functional change.
- 1.14.2: Declares the plugin’s licence as GPLv2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later) in the plugin header and composer.json, matching readme.txt and WordPress core. No functional change.
- 1.14.1: Corrects the Text Domain header from lh_multipart_email to lh-multipart-email, matching the plugin folder slug as WordPress requires. The plugin has no translatable strings yet, so nothing else changes.
- 1.14.0: Replaces the bundled copy of the Html2Text library (a locally patched 0.5.0, under the EPL/LGPL) with soundasleep/html2text 2.1.0 (MIT), installed by Composer into vendor/ and loaded on first use. The plain text alternative is now generated with libxml errors collected internally, so HTML5 or malformed email bodies no longer write PHP warnings to the debug log. The site charset is passed to the converter explicitly, which fixes garbled accented letters, curly quotes and dashes in the plain text part of emails whose HTML has no charset meta tag. If the library is missing or conversion fails, the email is sent HTML-only and the reason is logged, instead of raising an error. Now requires PHP 7.3 or later.
- 1.13.1: Stop DOMDocument::loadHTML() warnings flooding the debug log when converting HTML email bodies to plain text. In the default (strict) path of Html2Text::getDocument(), libxml parse warnings, such as for the HTML5 mark element or stray closing paragraph tags, are now collected internally and cleared instead of being emitted as PHP warnings on every email build. Conversion output is unchanged.
