LH Spreadsheets adds spreadsheets to WordPress as their own post type. Each spreadsheet is edited in the block editor with a full spreadsheet grid powered by Univer, so it keeps everything WordPress already gives a post: a title and description, draft, private and published statuses, an author, revisions and the editor’s collaboration features.
Features
- A Spreadsheets menu in wp-admin, backed by a non-public spreadsheet post type.
- A full spreadsheet editor: multiple sheets, formulas, number formats, cell formatting, freeze panes, and copy and paste.
- The workbook is stored in the post content in Univer’s open JSON format, so it travels with the site in any export.
- Every save is a WordPress revision, so earlier versions can be compared and restored.
- A REST API at /wp-json/lh/v1/spreadsheets that reads and writes workbooks as plain JSON.
- No external services: the grid runs entirely from files shipped with the plugin.
