LH Buddypress Group Tagger lets you tag posts and media with the BuddyPress groups they relate to, such as a team in a photo or a match report. Members then see their own groups’ pictures across the site.

- A Group Tags taxonomy on posts and media, kept in step with your BuddyPress groups by LH Shadow Taxonomies.
- A Photos tab on each group, showing the images tagged with it.
- Group names in post content link to the group, group tags are listed alongside a post’s ordinary tags, and a gallery post picks up the group tags of its images when it is published.
- Signed-in members see a gallery’s featured image from one of their own groups, a post with no excerpt shows its group tags, and groups without an avatar use one of their tagged photos.
- With LH Web Application, each signed-in member’s installed app starts with a photo of one of their groups, preferring portrait images.
- A bulk action that emails the members of tagged groups about a new post, and one that builds a gallery post from your groups’ photos.
Getting started
Activate LH Shadow Taxonomies and BuddyPress, then this plugin. Tag media and posts with their groups from the Group Tags box when editing them.
