LH Syndication Links

LH Syndication Links records where a post or comment has also been published (Facebook, Instagram, Mastodon, Bluesky and so on) and shows those copies as a row of small brand icons under the content. It is a lightweight fork of Syndication Links by David Shanske.

Links are stored in the standard mf2_syndication post meta used by the upstream plugin and by Micropub clients, and are marked up with the u-syndication microformat, so the data stays portable to any site running the original plugin.

Features

• A block editor sidebar panel for adding syndicated URLs. Values save as you type, so a pasted link cannot be lost.
• Links appended automatically to single posts and to comments, with an icon for each network (Simple Icons).
• An ?original-of= lookup that redirects a syndicated URL back to the original post.
• No settings screen: it behaves the same way on every site, and anything that needs to differ is changed with a filter.
• The stylesheet only loads on pages that actually show syndication links.

Differences from upstream

The outbound POSSE provider system, settings screen, widget, classic metabox and third-party social plugin integrations are dropped. Several upstream bugs in URL host parsing are fixed.
