LH Scrollable Tables stops wide tables from breaking the page layout on small screens. Each table in post content is wrapped in a container that scrolls sideways when the table is wider than the space it has, so the rest of the page stays the right width and the whole table can still be read on a phone.
Key features
- Works on any table in post content, whether written by hand, produced by a shortcode or added by another plugin, in classic and block themes.
- Tables nested inside a table cell are left alone, and a table is never wrapped twice.
- Only the page body is changed: content prepared for the page head, such as excerpts used in meta tags, is untouched, and pages without a table are skipped.
- No settings: the plugin works as soon as it is activated. Style the wrapper further with the
lh_scrollable_tables-wrapper class.
