The front-end script was enqueued on get_footer, which block templates never fire, so it never loaded there. It is now enqueued at the very start of wp_footer (priority 0), before LH Defer Javascript makes its decisions and before footer scripts print, so classic and block templates behave the same. Version moves to SemVer (1.75.0).
