LH Javascript Menu Items adds links that run a browser action instead of opening a page: Print, Refresh, Fullscreen, Wakelock (keep the screen awake) and Subscribe to RSS. They work in classic menus and, as named variations of the navigation link block, in navigation blocks.
Each link loads its script only on pages where it is actually shown, and points at a real fallback page, the JavaScript problem page, with the action in the address (for example /javascript-problem/?action=print). If the script does not run, because JavaScript is off or the browser does not support the action, the visitor lands on that page and sees an explanation of what to do instead.
The JavaScript problem page is an ordinary, editable page, created automatically on every site where the plugin is active. Its sections are shown or hidden by Block Visibility query string rules, so only the explanation for the action that failed appears. The page is kept out of search engines and the sitemap.
