Common Sense Australia is a citizen-led policy project that looks at national issues such as energy, housing, industry and regulation in plain English, with source lists so readers can check the material for themselves.

It is a good example of LocalHero being used for long-form publishing rather than club administration: an organisation runs its own site, owns its own content, and can take it with it if it ever leaves.

LocalHero hosts the site; the views expressed there are Common Sense Australia's own.

Once connected, the assistant can work with the site on the member's behalf: finding information, drafting content and handling routine admin. It can only do what that member's own role allows.

Members stay in control. Every connected app is listed on their Connected Apps screen, where they can rename it or revoke its access at any time.

LocalHero doesn't tie anyone to a particular AI. Organisations and members choose their own, and can change their minds.
